i had a fun weekend. I watched Harry Potter with my student You Ra. Too bad she didn’t understand the movie that well…. I hope she enjoyed the visuals though. Well I’m not a harry Potter fan but I think that movie is cool.
Then I met up with my brother AC a while ago. We ate at McDonald’s and we had our picture taken with two of their mascots… Birdie and Hamburglar! WOO!!! Twas really fun… Birdie was very accomodating and even hugged me… and Hamburglar was a little snob. I ate a lot of fries so I’m reaaaaaallyyyyy full now.
Oh… and I saw the opening of the SEA Games on TV. Twas kewl too. The San Miguel Performing arts provided the music and they’re just awesome. I wished I was there…. but when I saw how many people were there… I’m glad I stayed home. At least I got a better view. My boyfriend Paul was there because they had an Operation Jabez stuff there and he didn’t saw the performance. Poor kid.
Last Friday I went to a gathering of workin professionals…. or people who have work ( I don’t know what to call ‘em) They call their group II or Influencers International. Since the people wo met there are people who work in Quezon City they just call themselves QCII. There was a speaker who talked about how we can know about God’s will on our careers. It was a good message. That group by the way is like the counterpart of CCC (Campus Crusade for Christ) since they cater to working people. I think I will write the message of the speaker here. Well it won’t be verbatim. But I just want to share it here.
The youth group in our church is preparin for a Christmas Concert. They…. or rather we… are going to have it on the 22nd of December. Hmmm…. the 22nd. I hope that I can perform my tasks well. My brother assigned me to fix the vocals for the concert.
I miss my friends. I hope I can spend time with them. I’ve been missing them for ages though they think that I don’t feel that way towards them. I guess it’s because sometimes I’d rather be alone. But it’s always good to have ‘em around.
Oh well… it’s a holiday tomorrow! I have no plans though…. maybe I’ll just laze around. Great.
