I want to sleep at work… huhuhu… my throat and nose are acting up… and we might go to EK tomorrow! ^^

Well it’s not yet final-final. Ate Charlene told me that she’s got 4 free tickets to EK and asked me if I wanna go… so I said sureness… But I also asked her if we can go there on a Friday since it’s a weekend… Apparently she just found out that the expiration of that ticket is on Friday… I can’t go on Friday because we’ll have our 30th session in HA. Yup I’ll be meeting my group again. I miss them! I have a lot of stories to tell them already… Hehehe… Anyway so I asked Ate Charlene if we can go tomorrow instead… okay lang naman daw… but we have yet to fill the fourth spot (syempre kuya Jeg comes with Ate Charlene). So I thought of whom I can bring with me… I texted Jela since she’s the “go girl!” but of course she has work… and almost all of the people I wanted to invite are… well… they have work too! Haaay… I might end up being the third wheel… which I think could be interesting. Hmmm… excitement yun.

But well if we’ll push through tomorrow I think I’ll be sore all over on Friday… torture again it is. Well I just want to make the most out of my remaining summer vacation days ‘coz come june 13… pasukan naaaaa!!!

Anyway I know it’ll still be fun tomorrow… Sana walang pasok si Kuya AC so he can come with us… Yipee! ^^

and can’t get up in the morning…

it really is raining outside. and i’m wearing slippers. nyahaha… slippers to work, huh. Aios man. I have a tiny red spot on my tonsils ( i think)… anyway it’s a red spot on my throat and it’s because i did a terrible thing last night. I binged on chocolates!!! It’s awful… my throat is kind of sore… but not that much. I hate myself for loving chocolates when it’s like poison for me… waaaaaah… i’m getting dramatic. NObody was there to stop me! If mom were there… she could’ve told me… “anak tama na yan… masama ‘yan sa’yo”. But noooooooooooooo… I was on the floor just beside the fridge… and sinking my teeth on rich, luscious, heavenly-made chocolate. Huwaaaaa… torture this is.

Oh well… the rain stopped already and Dan Haseltine is still singing. Gotta love ‘em guys. ^^
What to watch out for… hmmm… i hope the chocolates are gone by the time I get home. Anyway I hope that those who read my posts don’t get annoyed by the music they hear… man that’s like Jars of Clay’s Tea and Sympathy! If you don’t dig ‘em… hit the back button pare. Hahahaha…. And Tintern Abbey sings “Lovely” for me on my friendster page. I read in an article that putting background music on your page shoos the readers away. Hmmm… At least I enjoy reading my own posts….

Yesterday I went to UP for the thrid time within this week to get my university admission slip. The first time I went there, which was Monday, I sort of got lost and when I finally found the place… the office is closed on Mondays. So I went back the next day and Andrea again gave me a lift in her cab… it was a nice cab she flagged down by the way… then yesterday I finally got my admission slip! Whew! Now I just have to enrol…

Well that’s not the main part of the story… When I go to Pantranco sumakay na ako ng jip tapos dun ako sa harap umupo… yung tabi nung pasukan. At dahil dun nilapitan ako ng isang surveryor (i’m not sure kung ganun nga taga ang tawag asa kanila) at tinanong ako. Taga LTFRB daw. Sarbey daw… San daw ako galing at saan ako papunta. Pag-katapos kung sumagot ng… UP, Tomas Morato… nilisan na niya ako… Wala pang isa, dalawa, tatlo… may nakita akong crew ng ABS-CBN na papalapit sa drayber ng aking jip na sinasakyan. At yun nga… kinapanayam nung lalaking may hawak na mikropono si manong drayber… Pagkatapos nito ay itinuro ako nung cameraman… acheche talaga… lumapit tuloy yung interbyuwer… at sinabi niya…
Interbyuwer: Ate… (di ko siya kapatid ‘no!) pwede ba mag-tanong…
Ako: Hinde. (ay di pala ganun yung sinabi ko) Ano pu ‘yon.
Interbyuwer: Payag ka ba sa gustong ipatupad ni Bayani (agbayani?) Fernandez na mag-bigay ng jodorant sa mga drayber na mababaho. (bad si interbyuwer)…
Ako: Okay lang… kasi para fresh.

Huwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw pare! how profound! Pang-miss uniber ang sagot ko! Ayan… sana di ipakita kasi special apperance yung third eye ko eh… ang aking pimple sa forehead. Nyahahaha… pero kung sakali man…. dude pare guys… sisikat ako sa hollywuuuuuuuud!

Sige seriousness naman. Kagabi napag-kwentuhan namin nila Angel yung napanood nila sa Oprah na feature about the “Dying Room”. It’s about the condition of some state orphanages in China. Kinukuwento pa nga lang nila naiiyak na ako. So kanina I looked it up sa internet at may nakita nga ako na site where you can view the dokyu… I don’t know who to blame nga for the plight of those innocent children. The feature will really grip your heart and maiisip mo sobrang unfair… but what can we do? What can I do? Kaya ko nga gusto maging isang social worker… pero ‘eto ngaun… mgakukunduktor na. Is that the right thing to do?

Haaaaaay… God help us.

I have a song… it goes with the weather… we have dark clouds again here which sort of pronounces death to summer… so ehem, ehem…

anyways… ayan umulan na nga. natuloy na ang dark clouds. I saw in the news last night that there was hail in antipolo. I remember that the last time I saw hail was when I was still a toddler in Bulacan. It rained hard one afternoon and when it stopped we went out of the house and saw ice! Sayang di na lang isnow… Naalala ko tuloy yung “The day after tomorrow”. I like that movie. Asteeg… and Jake Gyllenhaal is cute there… until he did Brokeback. Hehehe…

I’m so PMSing because I’ve been eating and eating and eating… my excuse is that it’s a form of exercise for the jaw. Hehehe… Si Andrea kasi… she always shares her stash of food with me. Masama pa namang tanggihan ang grasya, di ba?

While passing by the univ ave. in diliman nakita ko whithered and dead na ang mga sunflowers… sadness… i have to learn about its lifecycle. Sabi kasi sa akin ni Denise that yun nga… it whithers easily… wait… I’m not sure if it was her who told me that or my mom…

Anyway I wish that I can have a sunflower field! That will be really nice… ^^

nice weekend I had.

actuall before it became a nice weekend… it was pretty sour at first. Something was up in the family so on Saturday morning we had some sort of a family meeting. Emotions were high… words stung… though it ended up like a dark cloud was still hanging above our heads… after a few more hours everything started to settle down. I’m just thankful that I was born in this family filled with love. I pray to God that He’d preserve the ties that bind us. =)

After the “meeting” we had which I think lasted for at least 6 hours… my mom and I went to divisoria to buy a bag. I have yet to learn how to haggle… Then we rushed home because I still have to meet up with mitch in cubao so we can go to gela’s place. I missed my gurls so much! Pambihira nag-kapuyatan kami sa kuwentuhan. We updated each other with our lives and we just talked the night away. I slept ahead of Mitc and Angela since I had to wake up early to go to Antipolo for the church service. Besides that di na talga ako sanay magpuyat ng ganun. Nung outing lang with haiskul friends ako nakatagal nang gising for more than 24 hours. Speaking of which… I’ll be posting some pics here of our outing… mejo madilim lang kasi night swimming.

‘di pa rin ako nakakabawi ng tulog… but I’ll deal with that later…

It’s a miracle my student Justin was in a good mood this morning! ‘Di siya tamad mag-salita ngaun at ‘di rin inaantok. Aios!

humabol sa summer…

well i finally had a taste…(ewww…) of chlorine-water this summer! Nakapag-swim din sa wakas… kahit na parang janitor fish lang daw ako most of the time. Ha! Bad… Well I’m not a good swimmer so what do they expect from me, wyt? Anyway… last Friday my high school friends and I went to this resort in Antipolo to have a get-together. We got to the place late… but we still had fun. Maginaw pero masaya. Night swimming kase kaya ayun… mas maganda babad sa tubeeg. I was transformed into a human-sambalbida (that’s how alex pronounced it folks!) by vince and alex as they took turns of hanging behind my back so they can go the “malalim” part of the pool. I think I was able to stay awake for more than 24 hours. We couldn’t take a nap there ‘coz Bevs would threaten to pour ice cubes on us. Brrr… so we tried hard to stay awake. Actually I was able to take a nap when we were waiting for Abe to go back for us… he’s still our “dakilang drayber…” wtg gragradweyt na rin! I enjoyed the morning in the resort… well because I was still awake to catch the sunrise! Kewlness. I didn’t have a spectacular view of the sun going up though. I think I have an even better view here in our office balcony… weniwey mornings are really nice in Antipolo. Gotta luv it.

When i got home… I fell asleep and then woke up just to eat lunch, then slept again until Sunday morning. Whew! Binilang ko siya… and I think I slept for about 19 hours! Pambihira… antok pa rin ako hanggang ngaun.

I had a great time in our outing because I saw the people I haven’t seen for a long time. I had nice chats with them too. Too bad Denise and tara aren’t there. Supermegaoverfun sna un… well hopefully we’ll have our next get together when “sexy” (as abe puts it) comes back. Ayus.
