It’s already summer… in Korea. *^^*
My students have been telling me about the humid and hot weather they are experiencing. It’s like between 30 and 34 degrees Celsius there. It’s hotter here though. We experience it almost all-year round. Actually there’s already a heat wave alert in some areas. Whew!
Now one of my students… let’s call him Mr. Geologist (he is a geologist.. duh)… was telling me about the hot weather the other day. When I asked him about his weekend, he told me that he only stayed home and took a shower… several times. Hmmm… a very common practice here in the Phils during summer. However, there’s a twist. Taking showers several times a day is really not that interesting.
He takes a shower with the fan on.
Yes, laideez and genulmen, the fan is IN the shower with him.
After disbelieving him for a couple of minutes… he suggested that I try it. I laughed. I’m used to his crazy ideas… and am loving it.
Anyway… I went home to our house in Ilang-Ilang today. I took a shower before I went to work.
I had the fan on.
