This is my first weekend after school week. Funner! It feels a bit odd though. When I was still working my saturday already feels like a sunday. Hmm.. but when I woke up this morning… it’s just saturday. ^^ Weeeeee! And I haven’t done any of my homework yet.

Good time management, Ria.

Oh~~ but the past week has been reeeeaaaally cool. The first week of TESOL course is over… so four more to go. It’s quite fast actually but I’m enjoying every minute of it. Though I still lose sleep over the lesson plans that I have to prepare and all.. it’s worth it. And our teachers are uber cool. I’ve been learning a lot from them. I believe that God has placed me just in the right spot at the right time.

One of the main highlights of the past week… after a year and a half… i have finally visited UP CMu. Haaaaaay… i miss everything about it. The place… music… teachers… culture… people…

I’m still not sure if I’ll still pursue it… well maybe in the future. Anyway, I’ve listed studying as one of my hobbies. Hehehe. But I had a suuuuuuuper great time last night with Arnie, Jed and Kevin, Dino and Trisha. We watched the Freshie show first when I got there. Then the much awaited Bb. G-clef. My bet didn’t win, though. I had stomach cramps from laughing too much. I saw most of my batchmates and was introduced to a couple of peeps. (Kevin is Jed’s boyfriend, and Trisha is a violin major who hangs out with the rest of the gang… and she’s cool too) After the pageant I was supposed to go home but Arnie et al., insisted that we go to Greenhouse (hehehe.. i’m not sure about the name.. can’t remember). That’s somewhere in Kalayaan where Dino plays. I haven’t heard Dino sing live but I heard their CD. He should pursue a singing career… reeeeeaaaaally nice voice. Nakakabkla. Hehehe

Haaaay… finally I was able to resolve what was holding me back from visiting CMu.

We’re cool. Again. :)

hmmm lotsa stuff…

classes started yesterday. very intersting class. there are only 7 of us, and only one guy among us. He’s nepalese. with curly hair. got an indian accent when producing the /r/ sound. reminds me of deevio. well not because of the accent. yamyam denise… remember deevio? *wink.wink*

i moved out of the staff house last saturday… thanks to Abe who provided transpo. he stayed in our house chatting with my bro angel. they were talking about guy stuff.

i visited wephone yesterday for my clearance. unfortunately though, ma’am grace wasn’t around so i have to go there again… i planned on going there today but the weather is uncooperative and i don’t have an umbrella. so might go there tomorrow.

I’m officially unemployed, without any source of income, whatsoever. I just dropped the Kim girls since I realized that this TESOL course would demand much of my attention. ORtigas is too far a place for me to teach…

oh but i have to find some means of employment… still got some bills to pay.

Hmmm… well…. just wanna thank God for all the blessings he’s thrown my way. ^^ I still get overwhelmed thinking about his greatness.

*reflection mode*

I dropped by Jamie’s house in AIC last Saturday after having class with the Kim girls. Actually, I was able to teach only Christine. Anyway, when I got there Grace happily announced that she’s 4 months pregnant. Jed told me about it already but she wasn’t so sure if Grace was only joking or if it’s real. So there… Jamie will have a baby sister. Yosh! Oh~ but they’re leaving Feb next year since Grace wants to give birth in Korea.

I missed them so much! They’re the nicest. Well… as nice as Sally. Hehehe. Jamie is my official favorite student now. She has good values and very level headed too. She’s brought up well. Of course she’s still a kid and can be very mischeivous at times… but she’s more of a goody-two-shoes.

So yesterday… Grace let the two girls, Jamie and Nicole (Grace’s niece) to go to Galle with Jed and I. She’s realy a cool mom. Too bad Sunny had a date so she wasn’t able to go with us. So we went to Yellow Cab and gorged on pizza and chicken. Pictures are in Friendster. *I upload most pics there because I’m not good in organizing ‘em in albums* We also went to Time Zone and played some games. I’m sooooooooooooooooooo “bano” when it comes to those stuff. We tried the Dance Revo and it was no good. Hahaha. What made it more embarrassing was the guy who went up on the platform after us. He was so, so, so good.

Anyway… it was really fun hanging out with those girls. Maaaan! Can’t wait to visit them in Korea. Yipee!

Hmmkay… I’m done with more than half of the people in WePhone that I have to thank….

I left out mamu in the Team Two Group! Waaaaah! How is that possible?

Anyway… Mamu… thank you for always making me laugh. For twirling, curtsying, wonder-manING, ultra violetING, kill billING, miriam santiagoING, Imelda MarcosING, CharityING, and a whole lotta more. Haaaaay… I’ll definitely miss you. Pero inunahan na kita. Hehehe. Feeling ko mas mahirap kasi pag ikaw yung mang-iwan. Thanks for the flowers again, and for being so motherly to everyone.

TC Indigo: You’re the new occupant of Unit 401. Enjoy your stay there. Akala ko ikaw papalit sa room ko. Sa kabila ka pala. Hehehe. Anyway, thanks again for being so sisterly. Alam mo… naisip ko lang…. could it be that “IT’s” one and only love is YOU? Bwahaha…. Nga pala sis, si Maglantay… kau na bahala sa kanya ha? Hehehe.

TC Mick: I still have that drawing you made in the yellow post-it. I shall keep it… who knows baka tumaas value nun. I’ll miss your cool antics… pati na yung kwento mo about the “IT Mistress”. Bwahaha…. More power! Wag masyado tarayan si Maglantay, ha?

ATC Max: Hinay-hinay sa kape. Take care of my 2nd week trainee on my last week in WePhone. Hehehe. Thanks for being kind and offering sensible conversations. I shall buy that Glutaphos.

TC Ice: Mommy! Pasensya na at pinahirapan kita kay Nodame. Hehehe. Thanks for all the support and for the endorsements, especially for the encouragements. Sorry if I had to go ahead of you. I’ll see you around!

ATC Jared: Biruin mo nga naman! Dati diary checker ka pa ng team… ngaun… ikaw na ang dakilang ATC ng Team Three! I’m proud of you. Thanks for the cute stuffed doggie. So cute!

HTC Gail: Thanks for all the support you’ve given to the team and to the entire BS. Thanks for the message too. Hehehe. The Broken family will definitely miss you. You’re such a cool and patient HTC. We love you!

Sir Choi: Thanks for the messages. You’re getting in better in Filipino, huh. Hehehe. You’re my favorite male Korean officer. Hehehe. I will miss your jokes.

Sir David: Well, too bad I won’t have you as my Shift Manager. I hope you’ll have fun with the Broken Family. Take it easy. ^^

Ma’am Phoebe: You’ve been really kind, sweet, cool and understanding. The Broken Family will definitely miss you. I will miss you too. Especially your lovely smile and… American Accent. ^^Y

There you go…

To my housemates: I won’t post it here. Bwahaha.

Hmmm… Yesterday was my last day in the company.

I was crying in my terminal and didn’t want to attend our AM shift meeting. It was a bit embarrassing. Hehehe. Well at least, I didn’t bawl during our shift meeting. My eyes were stinging already when I gave my farewell message to the broken shift.

Maaaan… I love the Broken Family. I don’t know how to function well for the following days. And I’ll have my first day in TESOL class on Monday! This can’t be! Gotta shake it off… *haaauun*

WePhone BS people are the sweetest. If you want to receive gifts though it’s not your birthday, If you want to be kissed by mamu and get a bouquet of roses from him, if you want to be hugged and kissed and have a touching presentation made for you… work in WePhone as a Team Captain, then resign.

Bwahaha…

I’ve never felt soooooo loved and appreciated in my career until last night. Too bad it had to end.

So lemme take this time to thank *again* those people I’ve worked with for the past one year and 3 months.

The best 1 year and 3 months of my life. I’ll be doing this as I remember their terminals in my head.

__________________________________________

Yvonne: Thank you for being a big sister… for entertaining my questions, and just for being there. Though we didn’t have the chance to be really close, I’m genuinely touched by your presence last night…

Oscar: Sorry I lost that pen. Hehehe… but thanks man for the respect. I really felt it dude. I didn’t know that you’re that sentimental. ^^

Selma: Thanks for being really sweet to me…. for brightening up my day with your messages. Kaso lang… hmph! Nung lumipat ka ng team di mo na ako ina-IM. Hehehe… I will miss you dear.

Kana: Gurl… pasenxa na at nasermonan ka namin ni ATC bonnie dati. We were having bad attendance kasi nun… and we were quite overwhelmed sa dami ng trainees. Sorry I had to give you away din nun kay Ice. Huhuhu… But I knew from the start that you’re one of those people from your batch na mag-sstay. Enjoy the team. You’re lucky to be in the BS.

Lana: Thanks for that ready smile everytime I’d pass by your terminal. That’s really sweet. Nakaka-tanggal ng stress. Salamat din dun sa minty white chocolate that you gave me. I really enjoyed eating ‘em. Delicioso! Stay pretty and sweet… one of the real ladies in BS. ^^

Ivory: Mag-iingat ka sa paglalakad mo ha? Take care of your health too. Thanks for being nice to me… sayang, lagi ka kasi nasa terminal mo… hindi tuloy tau nakapag-TBS. :(

Hans: Thanks for taking care of Steve. Haaaaay… ayan tuloy we both lost him. Waaah… Oh~ and thanks for accompanying me sa Megamall when I was buying gift for my student. That was really sweet. Hanapin mo ulit si Steeeeeve!

Thea: Baby girl… stay pretty. Thanks for being sweet… pasenxa na hija at napamigay ko kayu sa team 4 nun. Waaaaah. Ok lang.. you’re doing quite well naman and shining on your own right. And hey…. you’re surrounded with cool people sa staff house. You’re still one of the lucky few. Ingatan mo Ate Jed mo ha?

Ethan: Ang toll fee! Don’t forget! Thanks for always greeting me with that cute smile. Yihee!

Marvin: Thanks for taking care of Cielo. Hehehe. She’s like my sister from a different mother. You’re an epitomy of a real gentleman. ^^

Hmm… that’s already a lot… Here’s more!

For my dear Team Two!

Renee: Our biology major… thanks for lending me your charger just when I needed it most. Hehehe… Kaw na bahala kay Joyce. Bwahaha

Joyce: Waaaaah… bakit kasi ang tahimik mo??? Ehem… I know something about you! *wink~wink* Take care of Fran. Listen to Renee… Wag na mag-games sa PC. Strict si Maglantay. Hala! Hehehe

Fran: When I was making your final evaluation… I told some people that I won’t pass you. Of course that was a joke. When I said that…. I think I almost got mobbed. Hahaha. Anyway.. thanks for being sweet and a good EIA. You’ve made me proud.

Cooper: Oist! Strict si Maglantay… Bwahahaha. Thanks for the presentation, man. I forgot to get a copy of it. Penge ha? You did not succeed!!! I didn’t cry!!! Bwahaha. Take care of the team. You’re one of the relics there. ^^ You go kick them a$$e$.

Mami Eula! I’ll miss jetty!!! and Choi!!!! Waaaaah…. Thanks for the pics. And the food you’ve shared. Hehehe. I’ll definitely miss it.

Jigsuh: Thanks for all the support…. and for hte patience. I know that I have a lot of misgivings as a TC… but I never felt any spite from you. Thanks for the respect and love. I love you Maglantay! Hehehe. Yung bilin ko sau ha?

Sheesh.. I my battery aint enough for this… to be continued…. there are still a lot on my list.

I already said goodbye to the laundry shop which cleaned my clothes for a year and three months. They’re very nice and accommodating people. Though of course, you don’t always get the results you want… like two of my shirts got smaller. Hehehe…. Either that or I just got bigger. Haaauun~

I also informed my students that I’m leaving the company. And it was such a revelation. Hehehe. I never imagined that Lian would be so hard to let go. He’s my student/brother. My 5:40/6:30 student. That’s because he changed his time. We had our last class yesterday and nobody wanted to hang up. We even went over time for 5 minutes. Heehee… now if you’re working in WePhone and you happen to read this… that is a big no-no. Hehehe. Still have full ten-minute classes. ^^Y

Oh~ I’m already done with the presentation for the team. It’s some sort of a ‘tribute’ to the Broken family, and most especially to Team Two. Coz usually, the people here prepare something for the one who’s leaving. But I have more to thank them for…

It premieres tonight, 18:30, at the training room.

But I’m kinda feeling that I would still do some revisions later. *sheesh*

Elder brother Cris is already in Singapore. He left after celebrating his birthday with our two other brothers. Uhmm… I already miss him. But mum misses him more. As usual she’s been crying a lot. I’m praying for God’s comfort for her.

Anyway, the birthday dinner was fun. Though my aunts in mum’s side weren’t able to come ‘coz of the weather… we enjoyed good food and had fun with the magic candle! The last time I saw a magic candle was when we still had a house in Panay avenue. So we were very delighted (like little kids) when after blowing the candle it suddenly lit up again! Wooooow! Andre enjoyed it too! I have to post the video of it somewhere. Really funny. hehehe… *giant blow*
