I called my student 20 minutes early.
Hehehe. I’ll just call her again a little later.

It’s a rainy Christmas.
I got wet on my way to Robinson’s this afternoon. Really wet. But not soakin’ wet.
My face was dripping. Good thing my bags are “semi-waterproof”. I wanted to buy a pair of sandals in Robinson’s because I’m just wearing slippers. My other sandal got broken. Huhu. That was red. I wasn’t able to buy anything because I was running late. Then I also had a “tummy situation” because I drank blended coffee without eating breakfast or lunch. The “caramel frappe” version of Bo’s coffee is good.

Denise called me this morning. She sort of woke me up. I was just half-asleep when she called. I’m glad she called. But my phone ran out of battery so… I hope I can get through the busy phone lines later.

I’m so full today. Our General Manager treated everyone to 3 boxes of pizza. Yum! And there’s also food from the prize we won on our Christmas party because of our presentation. Yosh! Pasta, chicken, brownies, ice cream and water. Hehehe. And I still have “baon” from our canteen. Hmmm… lotsa food.

So… we’re sorta breaking away from tradition this year.We won’t be spending our Christmas eve in Antipolo =’( It’s because I have work until 11pm later. Waaaaah! Though I don’t feel the “spirit” really… well I’m glad… no.. understatement… overjoyed that our Savior is born.

Immanuel. God with us. Among us. Doesn’t that give you goosebumps? Imagine a world without a Savior. Unimaginable actually. So eventhough He wasn’t really born on this exact day… actually it’s tomorrow… Umm… depends on what time zone you live in (you really can’t put God in a box) it still fills your heart with gratitude.

Think about it. Get lost in the lavishness of His love… His sacrifice… His gift… let it leave you in awe… allow Him to lift your soul up. Wherever you may be in the world… whatever situation you’re in right now… He came for you. He’s with you. He’s enough reason for you to smile… to love… to laugh… to live.

Salamat, Jesus.
